We are still overwhelmed: At the award ceremony of the German Innovation Award on Friday, April 28, the most innovative companies in the country were honored. In the categories large enterprises, medium-sized companies and start-ups CUREosity could convince as the most innovative start-up with the VR therapy system CUREO.
The ceremony took place in front of an impressive backdrop in Munich's Kesselhaus. The prize in our category was awarded by Frank Mastiaux, Chairman of the Board of EnbW Badem-Württemberg. The tension was almost unbearable, but the joy was all the greater when CUREosity was named the winner. Our CEO Thomas Saur and CFO Caesar van Heyningen gratefully accepted the award.
We are particularly pleased about the award because, on the one hand, we had very strong competitors who had presented equally impressive solutions. On the other hand, it also shows that the use of virtual reality in medicine, and especially in therapy, is increasingly receiving the attention it deserves. Finally, many studies, as well as our own survey, show that virtual reality achieves remarkable results within the rehabilitation of neurological patients.
Many thanks to the top-class jury, the entertaining evening including great musical accompaniment by Malik Harris as well as to the organizers from accenture, EnBW, and WirtschafsWoche.
