From December 8 to 10, the 9th annual congress of the DGNR e.V. and the DGNKN e.V. will take place in Dresden. After the congress could not take place in presence in the last years, we are now even more pleased to be able to be there with CUREO and the results of various studies.
In addition to our booth within the industrial exhibition (Hall 3 West), we will also hold various workshops with well-known personalities from the medical industry. Here is an overview of the presentations:
VR workshop with Prof. Dr. Mokrusch, Prof. Dr. Björn Hauptmann, Prof. Dr. Carsten Finke and Thomas Saur 08.12.2022, 13:30 - 15:00 First, Prof. Dr. Mokrusch will give an introduction to the topic "VR Therapy". Then Prof. Dr. Hauptmann will explain how CUREO is used in Parkinson's patients. Prof. Dr. Finke will show how VR is used in neurology. Thomas Saur will close the lecture with a presentation about CUREO and a live demonstration.
Presentation of the results of the acceptance survey by Dr. Petra Söhnlein (CUREosity) 09.12.2022, 10:30 - 12:00 hrs. As part of various short presentations, Dr. Petra Söhnlein will present the results of our acceptance survey conducted together with the St. Mauritius Therapy Clinic, in which we were able to achieve very positive results regarding therapy motivation as well as the desire to repeat the therapy, among other things.
Presentation of the pain study by Honya Faray (University of Maastricht) 09.12.2022, 13:30 - 15:00 hrs. Together with Maastricht University, we conducted a pain study. Ms. Faray will present how the perception of pain can change during VR therapy.
